Call for Delegates: RESO x Asian Contents & Film Market Producer Hub 2025
Organized by the Racial Equity Screen Office (RESO)
📍 Sept 20-23, 2025 | Busan, South Korea
🗓 Application Deadline: July 2, 2025. (Selected participants will be notified by July 15)
The Racial Equity Screen Office (RESO) is seeking expressions of interest from Canadian producers who identify as Black, Indigenous, or racialized, and who are actively developing international co-productions with partners in Asia. RESO will be supporting a delegation to the 2025 Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), hosted during the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.
This delegation is made possible by the generous support of CanExport (Government of Canada) and will provide producers with access to the Producer Hub at ACFM—a curated international co-production and project exchange platform—and tailored support to connect with decision-makers, sales agents, financiers, and producing partners from across Asia.
About the Delegation
As a leading partner in building stronger ties between Canada-Asia’s screen industries, RESO is leading a targeted delegation that prioritizes equity-deserving producers. Delegates will:
Participate in B2B meetings, curated networking events, and market presentations.
Receive pre-market coaching and preparation.
Gain access to strategic connections across the Korean and broader Asian industry ecosystems.
Benefit from on-the-ground support and RESO delegation branding under the Canadian umbrella, in parallel with Telefilm Canada.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of colour (BIPOC).
Be a producer or production company with at least one screen-based project in development with international co-production or co-venture potential in the Asia-Pacific region.
In order to be granted an ACFM Producer Hub badge*, applicant should have Producer credit(s) on at least one feature film/drama/series theatrically, on a platform, in a festival, and/or aired within the past three (3) years, from July 2022 to July 2025.

Be available for virtual preparation and full participation in the Busan-based delegation (Sept 20-23, 2025).
